Mother Nature decided to show Michael Bay that he isn’t the only one who can produce some awesome explosions.
Near the Pacific island, Tongatapu, an underwater volcano erupted last month. The event was captured by Dana Stephenson of Getty Images. The explosion threw steam, ash and smoke 100 meters into the air. Total awesomeness.
Michael Bayhas posted 2 minutes of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen footage (originally shown at Showest)! The first part is a scene where Sam is breaking the news to Bumblebee that he’s going to college. The second half is some pretty amazing robot kick-assery including some Devastator action! You have to hand it toMichael Bay, he knows how to bring these robots to life, whether or not you agree with his choices (old, cranky Jetfire). Check it out!
I propose a new drinking game for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Every time you see an explosion, take a shot of your favorite beverage. Try this with this new trailer, you’ll have a good buzz going within 2 and a half minutes. The explosion factor is rivaling that of a Michael Bay movie, and may cause alcohol poisoning if this game is applied to most of his films.
The jury’s still out if I am looking forward to this or not. After X-Men 3, there’s still a bitter taste in my mouth. While this trailer makes X-Men Origins: Wolverinee look like a fun, dumb 80′s action flick, it may just be drinking game fodder in the future. We shall see.
After the supposed death of her son at a summer camp, a mother begins to kill the camp employees. After her death at the hands of the remaining employees, her son returns to continue her bloody work.
Review:
10:15pm, on Friday the 13th 2009 I sat in a packed theater filled with 75% black hoodie and T-shirt wearing males. The remaining 25% was comprised of high school guys with unsuspecting girlfriend in tow. Oh, and one parent who thought they could hid their infant (hearing a baby crying during a horror flick is really strange).
