Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen exists only to fuel Michael Bay’s U. S. Military and Gigantic Explosion masturbatory fantasies. It is an exercise in excess gone horribly wrong. Maybe Michael Bay just wanted to create a Frat Boy Drinking Game movie, “Every time you see an explosion or cleavage, take a drink!” So, maybe he succeeded in what he set out to do. However, Mr. Bay, I’ve cut you slack numerous times, but I would like my 2 AND A HALF HOURS of my life back.

Movie Trailer [Red Band]: Jennifer’s Body

Here is the Red Band Trailer for the horror flick Jennifer’s Body written by Juno’s Diabo Cody and directed Karyn Kusama, starring Megan Fox.
A “serious horror” trailer was released before Bruno, however the film is a lot more of a campy/fun type of horror movie. So the filmmakers have decided to cut their own trailer to reflect the tone they’re going for. Here’s a message from them:
“Fox is putting a trailer of Jennifer’s Body in front of Bruno this Friday. Great right? Only problem is it’s not our trailer. It’s kind of a straight horror preview and while we’re sure it’ll appeal to many of you, we wanted to make sure you guys got to see our cut… Lets call it the ‘filmmaker’s cut’.
We think it captures the comedy and scares of the horror films we grew up on – a kind of nostalgia for when horror films were fun. Can’t wait to show you the whole film… In the meantime, here’s the red band trailer we wanted our fans to see.”

Transformers 2 Worse Than Wolverine and Terminator Salvation
It’s official: X-men Origins: Wolverine is the 2nd best reviewed Blockbuster of the Summer (behind Star Trek, of course).
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is getting a BEATING by almost everyone who’s seen it. Both critics and fanboys alike would love to crucify Michael Bay. It is currently resting at 20% on Rottentomatoes.com, as compared to 2007’s Transformers which settled at 57%.
Head over to Rotten Tomatoes to read all the reviews. I’m actually surprised that it’s being hated on so much. The effects look amazing, however it looks like Michael Bay’s horrible sense of humor and bloated running time ruin the proceedings.

Transformer Overload: 4 new TV Spots
Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is being shoved down our collective throats. With tons of pictures, trailers, TV spots and clips it’s getting pretty ridiculous.
But, you got to hand it to Michael Bay. He doesn’t half-ass it and is all about over-indulging. Kind of like Motley Crue back in the day!

Check Out Josh Brolin as Johah Hex
The spy photographers have struck again with a look at the Jonah Hex movie. Here are some awesome shots of Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex. I now am excited for this film adaptation of the Western Comic Book anti-hero directed by Horton Hears a Who! (WTF?) director Jimmy Hayward.
In the DC Comic created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga, Jonah Hex was an officer for the Confederacy during the American Civil War, fought at Gettysburg and is normally shown wearing a tattered Confederate States Army jacket. Looks like they have the look right for Josh Brolin.

Meet Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s Fallen.
MTV debuted a picture The Fallen, the mysterious villan in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Here’s what Shia LaBeouf has to say about the character:
Basically, the Fallen is to them what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us… He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from. [The relationship between him and Megatron is] the Emperor and Darth Vader – it’s that kind of situation… He’s the main villain, so two and two makes four. He’s a badass. He has to be. The Fallen, his transportation method is really unlike any other robot’s transportation method. The way he fights is also very different. It’s spectacular, visually stunning, really incredible.
