I’ve been quietly following Adam Green’s suspense/horror/thriller Frozen with anticipation. Now we finally have a trailer and I’m hooked.
Plot Synopsis:
A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they’ve been left behind dangling high off the ground with no way down.
With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Once they make their move, they discover with horror that they have much more to fear than just the frigid cold. As they combat unexpected obstacles, they start to question if their will to survive is strong enough to overcome the worst ways to die?
The movie trailers for Louis Leterrier’s remake of Clash of the Titans are looking pretty kick ass. Although, the music may be heightening the kick-ass-ness (as noticed by ScreenRant’s Vic Holtreman/@screenrant in a recent tweet). Not sure how I feel about Sam Worthington’s 3rd film with a buzz cut. Seriously, in ancient Greece did they have clippers?
At any rate, Medusa looks cool and the Kraken is pretty mind blowing too. The effects look great, we’ll see if all the prettiness can hold up to the plot.
Clash of the Titans stars Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Izabella Miko and Danny Huston. It will be in theaters on March 26, 2010.
Cybertron. Check. Epic Space Battles. Check. Cool Alt-vehicle modes. Check. Optimus Prime wielding a gigantic Battle Ax and kicking ass. Check. Geeks popping geek-boners. Check.

In order for more of us to drink the Avatar Kool Aide, a featurette has been released to hopefully quiet down the “Geek Hate” of James Cameron’s new “Visionary Masterpiece” Avatar.
It’s pretty interesting. I’m still looking forward to seeing Avatar in 3D with no pre-conceived expectations. Everything new I’ve seen has helped wash the bad taste of the first Teaser trailer that was rushed out earlier last month.
Yahoo! has the full theatrical trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar. I’m more sold than I was with the first trailer, but there’s so much hear that reminds me of so many other movies.
I’m not impressed with the plot, but dang the visuals look tasty. I plan on catching this in 3D during a matinee showing, for sure.
Yahoo has the clip in HD, or you can watch the embed above.
Stallone is bringing it like it’s 1985 with his new homage to 80’s action flicks, The Expendables. Here’s the awesomely ridiculous extended trailer of machismo.
Watch it. Love it. I’m going to do me some sit ups.
The Expendables is currently slated to hit theaters on August 20, 2010.
Gerard Butler & Jamie Foxx. Sign me up.
Don’t know how this slipped under my radar, but I’m hearing rumblings that this is pretty brilliant. Can’t wait for this one!
Law Abiding Citizen is written by Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium) and directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Negotiator, A Man Apart). Although the writer has been involved in some recent stinkers (Ultraviolet, Street Kings), hopefully this will be his first sure fire hit.
Plot Synopsis:
Law Abiding Citizen is a thriller about a brilliant sociopath who orchestrates a series of high-profile murders that grip the city of Philadelphia – all from inside his jail cell – and the prosecutor assigned to his case who realizes he is the only one who can end the reign of terror.
Nicolas Cage is back! Nicolas Cage’s bad hair is back! Nicolas Cage’s acting is over the top!
I know all this is a surprise to you. But, all the craziness of Nic Cage aside, I’m interested in checking out the pseudo remake Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans by equally insane Werner Herzog. I’m positive the Harvey Keitel is the better version, but let’s hope this Bad Lieutenant doesn’t have any Nic Cage frontal nudity. I’m still trying to forget Harvey Keitel’s frank & beans…..(shudder)…..
