But, all the craziness of Nic Cage aside, I’m interested in checking out the pseudo remake Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans by equally insane Werner Herzog. I’m positive the Harvey Keitel is the better version, but let’s hope this Bad Lieutenant doesn’t have any Nic Cage frontal nudity. I’m still trying to forget Harvey Keitel’s frank & beans…..(shudder)…..

Troy Duffy is back with is SECOND film (?), the follow up to his original cult hit The Boondock Saints. I’m a little concerned about he absence of Willam Dafoe, since he was the best part of the original, however this looks like it could be fun.

Well, here it is. The first trailer for the much-hyped-by-James-Cameron, 10-years-in- the-making sci-fi fantasy film Avatar.
To get the full effect, head over to Apple to see it in HD. However, I must say for all the hype surrounding the film I’m a bit underwhelmed (even in HD). And as far as the “You HAVE to see it in 3D for it to look good!” arguments go, any movie that relies on a gimmick to be good is bullshit.

Looks like they’re going dark for the next Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). I’ve always been a fan of the film series. The effects keep getting better and better. Need to read the books one of these days!
