Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans starring Nic Cage and another bad hair piece.

Category : Trailers

Nicolas Cage is back! Nicolas Cage’s bad hair is back! Nicolas Cage’s acting is over the top!

I know all this is a surprise to you. But, all the craziness of Nic Cage aside, I’m interested in checking out the pseudo remake Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans by equally insane Werner Herzog. I’m positive the Harvey Keitel is the better version, but let’s hope this Bad Lieutenant doesn’t have any Nic Cage frontal nudity. I’m still trying to forget Harvey Keitel’s frank & beans…..(shudder)…..

WTF? Nicolas Cage? The Sorcerers Apprentice?

Category : News, WTF?

This has been a good week for laughs directed at Nicolas Cage.  First, with yet another horrendous example of acting and hair in Knowing, now with horrendous hair and possible horrendous acting in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.  A live action film based on the story from Disney’s Fantasia.  Courtesty of JustJared, this photo shows Nicolas Cage filming a scene in a subway station with co-star Jay Baruchel.

I Love You, Man is Loved; Knowing Not So Much

Looks like Alex Proyas has given us another stinker.  Since Dark City and The Crow, he has failed to deliver on the genius of those films.  Garage Days was lame (44% on the Tomatometer).  I, Robot (54% on the Tomatometer) was underwelming.  Looking at the reviews, it looks like Knowing is even worse than the previous two with 25% on the Rotten Tomatoes “Tomatometer.”

On the other hand, the non-Apatow comedy, I Love You, Man is getting better-than-expected reviews (82% on the Tomatometer).  Paul Rudd is showing he can be a great comedic leading man.  First with Role Models and now with I Love You, Man I’m sure we’ll see more Paul Rudd flicks in the future.

See quotes from reviews of these films along with links to the reviews after the jump.

LOL! Name Nic’s Movie Do Game

Although he’s won Oscars you have to admit, Nicolas Cage has sported some really horrific hair.  He’s one of those actors I want to love, but especially recently with The Wicker Man, Next and now Knowing, Nic is making it hard.  Today I found this game on Rotten Tomatoes.  Who knew Nic Cage’s hair would be so fun?

Nicolas Cage Keeps Fingers Crossed For Ghost Rider 2

Category : News, WTF?

Nicolas Cage just needs to stop.  His career has gone downhill along with his hair style choices for each movie.  In fact, I may do a top 5 list on his hair in the future.

Let’s be honest, Ghost Rider was a horrible movie.  It was a bastardization of the original comic and generally hated by fans.  However, that doesn’t stop good ol’ Nic Cage from talking about a sequel!

He spoke with MTV about his ideas, ”It has to have that action horror element and go deeper into that if it were to happen and [it should] keep us asking questions. Keep it interesting on a philosophical level,“

Nicolas Cage is an actor that is choosing to run his career into the ground.  After seeing his brilliant turn in Adaptation, I was hoping for a new and interesting Nic Cage.  However, he’s decided to give us unintentional hilarity with The Wicker Man and Bangkok Dangerous.  Oh well.  Thanks for the laughs, Nic!
