Roland Emmerich Destroys the World with 2012 Trailer

roland-2012

I don’t know what Roland Emmerich has against civilization. Every movie he does, mankind is almost pushed to extinction and historic monuments are destroyed. Although with 2012, the effects look the best I’ve seen in one of his disaster movies. Plus, John Cusak! John Cusak!!!

See the trailer and plot synopsis after the jump.

Synopsis:

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. A global cataclysm brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.
