The spy photographers have struck again with a look at the Jonah Hex movie. Here are some awesome shots of Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex. I now am excited for this film adaptation of the Western Comic Book anti-hero directed by Horton Hears a Who! (WTF?) director Jimmy Hayward.
In the DC Comic created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga, Jonah Hex was an officer for the Confederacy during the American Civil War, fought at Gettysburg and is normally shown wearing a tattered Confederate States Army jacket. Looks like they have the look right for Josh Brolin.

MTV debuted a picture The Fallen, the mysterious villan in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Here’s what Shia LaBeouf has to say about the character:
Basically, the Fallen is to them what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us… He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from. [The relationship between him and Megatron is] the Emperor and Darth Vader – it’s that kind of situation… He’s the main villain, so two and two makes four. He’s a badass. He has to be. The Fallen, his transportation method is really unlike any other robot’s transportation method. The way he fights is also very different. It’s spectacular, visually stunning, really incredible.

According to one of the Director’s (Allen Hughes) of the upcoming post-apocalyptic film The Book of Eli, the catalyst for the plot of the movie hinges on Denzel Washington’s characters need to recharge his iPod and refill his canteen. That’s what brings him to Gary Oldman’s town and where the plot thickens. [USA Today]
Is it just me or is that just stupid. The world has pretty much ended. We’re in post-apocalyptic Earth. And someone’s iPod is still relevant? Worth risking one’s life for?

Sylvester Stallone is plugging away at his action opus The Expendables with a smorgasbord of B-list action stars (“Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Dolph Lungren, Eric Roberts, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke just to name a handful). I’m really looking forward to a resurgence of dumb fun action, and The Expendables looks really promising (sans the PG-13 rating).
