Here’s an official trailer for the new flick Give ‘Em Hell, Malone directed by Russell Mulcahy (Resident Evil: Extinction?). This shows a little more of the plot than the previous Red Band trailer which was pretty much a couple minutes of shoot-em-up action. Thomas Jane is the man. Can’t wait for this one!
Plot Synopsis:
Cannes trailer for Give ‘Em Hell, Malone, which shows two minutes of never before seen footage from the film.
The film follows a private eye named Malone who attempts to retrieve a mysterious case.
Starring the incomparable Ron Perlman and Lauren German, Tom Jane has promised that Dark Country will “remain true to the stylistic choices of film noir, while delivering an immersive reality and visceral experience that only the next generation of 3D cinematography could provide.”
Plot Synopsis:
A couple en route from Las Vegas are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride.
I love Thomas Jane as an actor and am really looking forward to what he can bring to the table as a director. Check out the extremely stylish stills after the jump.
In the year 2707, war rages between earth’s four giant corporations as they battle over the planet’s dwindling resources. In an era marked by warfare and social regression, the earth is on the verge of ruin, destruction is everywhere; battles explode on every ravaged continent. Amidst heavy combat, an errant shell shatters an ancient buried seal releasing a horrific mutant army from its eternal prison deep within the earth. As the mutant scourge threatens human extinction, a single squad of soldiers descends into the earth to fulfill the ages-old prophesy of the Mutant Chronicles and save mankind.
You can check out the full flick today on Video On Demand or try and catch it during its limited theatrical run on April 24th, 2009. Or, just wait until the DVD release.
When I first saw this title I was intrigued. Then I saw the cast: Doug Hutchison, Thomas Jane, Ving Rhames. Then I saw this teaser trailer. Holy gory Hell! This looks like a pretty badass flick.
Plot Synopis:
A private eye named Malone attempts to retrieve a mysterious case.
Mutant Chronicles: This movie looks like it has some potential. Or it could really suck. I’m holding out for a damn good movie. What’s not to like here? Mutant Zombie Apocalypse. Check. The Future. Check. Space Marines. Check. Thomas Jane. Check. Ron Perlman. Check. John Malkovich? Not sure about him.
