Badass Asian Babes Battle Giant Sand Whales in Assault Girls!

Category : Trailers

assault-girls

Mamoru Oshii, director of The Ghost in the Shell and Avalon is back and looking better than ever! Assault Girls follows trio of female hunters live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where they must battle the fearsome sand whales that plague their world.

Just watch the trailer and you’ll be as excited for this as I am. Assault Girls will be in limited release in Japan on December 19th.  No word on any U.S. release, but let’s keep our fingers crossed for a Region Free Blu Ray someday!

Movie Trailer: Assault Girls

Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii’s first full length live action film since Avalon, Assault Girls looks like an awesome flick.  I wish we had a proper HD trailer, but this does enough to wet my appetite.

It will be in limited release in Japan on December 19th, which means we’ll probably have to wait for the Import Blu-Ray release to enjoy it here in the States.  But, I’ll be snatching that up as soon as it’s available for sure.

Check out the trailer and plot synopsis after the jump:
