Inception (2010)

While this is not Christopher Nolan's smartest film (Memento still reigns), Inception is still the smartest popcorn movie to come out in the past 10 years. Mixing the semi-cerebral with ingenious effects and thrilling action, Inception is a breath of fresh air for big-budget summer blockbusters.
