Finally! After seeing all the beautiful stills, we have a trailer for Spike Jonze‘s adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are! This looks absolutely wonderful. Check it out for yourself!

Plot Synopsis:

An adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world–a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.

Spike Jonze’s film version of Where the Wild Things Are has been in my sights for some time.  I loved the book as a kid and am loving the visuals I’ve been seeing.  Finally, official marketing is kicking into gear.  In 2 weeks we’ll see a trailer, but until then we have the official poster to tide us over!

The combination of actual costumes enhanced with CGI sounds like a brilliant move and from the photos and now the poster I can’t wait for this.
