San Diego’s We Shot The Moon are giving their album Fear and Love away for FREE. Yes. FREE.
With their new album A Silver Lining on it’s way, I’m sure they figured this would be a great way to bring in the un-initiated. We Shot The Moon is a great band, I’ve had the album since last year and it’s one of my favs.
Fear and Love is a great album. Great lyrics and catchy tunes. Nothing wholly original here, just executed really well.
Jonathan Jones, the former singer of Waking Ashland, formed We Shot The Moon in July of 2007 when Waking Ashland called it quits. Wanting to build upon the success of Waking Ashland, but ready to take his music in a new direction, he enlisted the help of his friends Dan Koch and Joe Greenetz (of Sherwood). Fear and Love contains 12 tracks of pop goodness, in the likes of Jack’s Mannequin, Switchfoot and Weezer. [AbsolutePunk]
