Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg present The Pacific

Category : Trailers

Executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, The Pacific is a follow up to the HBO Mini-series Band of Brothers (my favorite mini-series of all time).  This looks epic, dramatic and emotional.  I’ll never get sick of WWII movies/stories, so I already can’t wait to own the Blu-Ray!

No air times have been announced,  but look for this on HBO in 2010.  Can’t wait!!

Plot Synopsis:

Executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the team behind the Emmy-winning 2001 HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers,” this epic ten-hour miniseries tracks the intertwined odysseys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda) – across the vast canvas of the Pacific. The extraordinary experiences of these men and their fellow Marines take them from the first clash with the Japanese in the haunted jungles of Guadalcanal, through the impenetrable rain forests of Cape Gloucester, across the blasted coral strongholds of Peleliu, up the black sand terraces of Iwo Jima, through the killing fields of Okinawa, to the triumphant, yet uneasy, return home after V-J Day. Produced by HBO Miniseries in association with Playtone and DreamWorks Television, and scheduled to debut on HBO in early 2010.

Movie Trailer: Toy Story 3

Category : Trailers

I love Pixar. They haven’t made a bad movie yet, and they’re the first affiliate of Disney to do a quality sequel with Toy Story 2. Now, next year we have Toy Story 3 to look forward to!

The teaser trailer for Toy Story 3 courtesy of Apple. Toy Story 3— in theaters June 18, 2010— is a brand new adventure starring Buzz and Woody in Disney Digital 3D™
