An employee at a Chocolate Factory DIED yesterday after falling into an 8 feet deep vat of hot melted chocolate that was being made for Hershey’s.
According to CNN:
Vincent Smith II, 29, was dumping raw chocolate into the vat for melting when he fell in from a nine-foot high platform. He suffered a fatal blow to the head from the vat’s agitator, a paddle-like mechanism used for stirring the chocolate.
Looks like now is a good time to give up chocolate.
Also, if I’m to expand on Geekologie‘s take on this story, the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is totally unrealistic in portraying Augustus Gloop‘s fall into the Chocolate River.
